Swipe Life is a game for iPhone made by an independent developer ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the app and this website. Installing or playing the game means you accept them. If you do not, please do not install the game.
The short version. Play the game, buy a deck if you want one, don't try to break it or resell it. Purchases and refunds go through Apple. The game is fiction, not advice. We make no promises that it will be perfect, and what you can claim from us is limited, but nothing here takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.
Your licence
The app is licensed to you, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Swipe Life on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and the usage rules in them.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or its content;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law;
- use cheats, automation, modified clients or other tools to tamper with scores, purchases or leaderboards;
- use our names, artwork, card text or other content in your own product or marketing without written permission;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.
You may of course record, stream and post your own gameplay, including the ending cards the game makes for sharing.
Purchases
Swipe Life is free to play. Extra decks and the option to remove ads are one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions, no timers and no daily limits.
- Apple handles billing. Every purchase is made through your Apple Account under Apple's terms. We never see your payment details.
- What you get. A purchase unlocks content inside the app for the Apple Account that bought it. It is a licence to use that content, not ownership of it, and it has no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
- Restoring. Reinstalling the app or moving to a new iPhone keeps your purchases. Use Restore Purchases in the app's settings while signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves. Where your local consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal or a statutory refund right, that right still applies.
- Prices. Prices are set per App Store region and may change. A change never affects something you have already bought.
Ads
The free version shows ads between runs, plus an optional rewarded ad that revives a run when you choose to watch it. Ads come from Google AdMob and we do not control which ones you see. Buying Remove Ads stops them. How ad tracking works, and how to decline it, is described on the privacy page.
Your progress and your data
Your runs, best scores, legacy points and unlocked packs are saved on your device, not on our servers. We do not back them up and cannot restore them. Deleting the app deletes them. Leaderboard scores and achievements, if you use Game Center, are held by Apple under Apple's terms.

The game is fiction
Every character, company, platform and crisis in Swipe Life is invented. Any resemblance to a real person, brand or service is coincidental and not intended. Card text is written for entertainment and is not medical, legal, financial, business or life advice. Do not make real decisions because a card told you to.
Changes to the game
We may add, change, rebalance or remove decks, cards, packs and features, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS. We may also stop offering the game altogether. If we discontinue it, previously purchased content may stop working once the app can no longer run or is removed from the App Store. We will not do this lightly, and nothing here limits refund rights your consumer law gives you.
Our content
The app, its cards, artwork, mascot, name and this website belong to us and are protected by copyright and other rights. The typefaces Caprasimo and Figtree are used under the SIL Open Font License, whose texts ship with the app. Feedback and card ideas you send us may be used without obligation or payment, and you confirm you have the right to send them.
Apple's role
This agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The following applies to the version of Swipe Life you download from the App Store:
- We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and for any maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide either.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for any claim that the app or your use of it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, arises under consumer protection or privacy law, or infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app, including the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Game Center terms.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
No warranty
The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that the game is free of bugs, that a run will never be lost, or that leaderboards and ads will always be available. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost data, lost progress or lost profits arising from your use of the app or this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
Ending this agreement
You can end it at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially break these terms, for example by tampering with purchases or leaderboards. The sections on our content, no warranty, limitation of liability and governing law survive the end of this agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app changes or the law requires it. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will also be mentioned in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
